Dr Cheong Wai Kwong
Dr. Cheong has been practising Dermatology since 1986 in various hospitals including the National Skin Centre in Singapore, and in the St John’s Dermatology Centre in London before going into private practice at the Specialist Skin Clinic in 1995. He trained at the St John’s Dermatology Centre, London in cutaneous photobiology, (the study of biological effects of sunlight on the skin) and phototherapy (the use of ultraviolet radiation to treat skin conditions). Besides treating general skin problems in both children and adults, he has special interest and expertise in the treatment of psoriasis, acne and acne scars and the use of ultraviolet radiation (phototherapy) for treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and vitiligo. He has also undergone training and worked in the field of sexually transmitted infections in St Thomas’ Hospital, London.
