What is IPL Photorejuvenation?

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation represents an exciting procedure designed to produce younger and healthier looking skin. How long does each IPL Photorejuvenation treatment take?

A full-face treatment takes less than 10 minutes. Fairly dramatic improvements can now be accomplished with little or no downtime and with very minimal discomfort. A total of 3-5 treatments spaced one month apart is recommended for optimal results.

Does IPL Photorejuvenation hurt?

IPL treatment using the Ellipse®I2PL hurts slightly. Some patients choose to have a numbing cream applied 1 hour before the treatment.

What can I expect after IPL Photorejuvenation treatment?

Transient redness and swelling are expected. These usually resolve rapidly and you can resume your normal activities immediately after. Some may experience small brown crust (much like coffee grounds) for a few days. Subsequently your skin will look smoother and fresher.
